It is aided for A3 sized paper documents and what is very useful to paper size variations - is that it tells you on the A3 paper tray where to put the relevant size paper formats ready for a print run. Very helpful for non wastage due to the fact you do not need to test print a sheet; especially in this increasingly eco - orientated business world. ...of 6 x 4 photo paper. The main tray holds up to 100 sheets of A4 plain paper, the secondary tray holds about 20 sheets. The output tray will hold up to 50 sheets, after that point the new sheets will begin to foul on the previous output and can cause jams. Just because you have 100 sheets in the input, don't get carried away! As is usual in HP's DeskJet's the input and output trays are horizontal and stacked one above the other. While this means that the paper needs to travel through a 180 degree path it also means that both input and output are held flat so there is less danger of curling. ...and eventually encountered a 'HP DESKJET F380' printer (for the first time) that immediately grabbed my attention. This product resembles 'HP PSC 1315' A LOT in its design except that it lacks ports for various types of 'photo memory cards' (see WHAT I EXPERIENCED) and is therefore significantly cheaper than 'HP PSC 1315'. The 'A3' sized, advertisement sheet from Staples.co.uk came free with the 'Daily Mail' and Staples advertised the 'HP F380 All-in-One Printer' for £39.99. This was a GREAT PRICE for a HP photosmart, F380 printer that combines the functions of three separate electronic devices. However, I decided to explore alternative hardware retailers for the possible, cheapest prices on my product of interest.
