...I have been a fan of the Ipaq since the days of the old Compaq 3600 (way back in the summer of 99!).
Since then I have had the Ipaq 5500 (the finger print reader) and now onto my third the new HX4700 (the one with the track pad!).
Being familiar with the Ipaq's of old, the first thing I noticed when I unpacked the box was how thin the new Ipaq was, very thin, when compared to my old 5500. The looks though may not be to everyone's tastes, but it does the job.
I have noticed though that HP seem to be getting more and more stingy on the "included" accessories. No more slip on case, spare pens nothing! With the 4700 all you get is the one stylus, a docking cradle and a plastic flap/cover for the screen.

...is still wired connected, I hope it was wireless, but its not. Just for fun I wrote the next section about this cable…
-- IEEE-1284, what is that?!
I wasn’t going to write this section in the first place, but it I thought it’s funny to write a total section about this cable.
Anyway, this is the cable that connects the printer with the computer through the parallel port. I included a picture of the cable so you can get the picture of it. Anyway you must get this cable to be able to connect your printer to your PC, it’s around £ 7.25 in the market, but all depends on its length and its brand. By the way if anybody knows why HP doesn’t include this cable, I’ll be willing to know…
By the way HP has two models of this cable: HP IEEE 1284 Cable (a-b) 2 meter (C2950A) for $17.95 and HP IEEE 1284 Cable (a-b) 3 meter (C2951A) $22...

Advantages: Powereful budget PC Disadvantages: None........ As yet
..., burning of discs, and occasionally playing games.
A quite jolly young girl bounced up called Jude who I told my tale, and gave her the rather risky news I had £550 to spend. I knew telling her this was a risk but I felt it a risk to take, more or less instantly she led me to this HP Pavilion mini tower; now I had noticed these in three places in the store but not in one place did it have a price. The reason Jude informed me was that they were preparing for a price slash on these models, now she could have told me anything new in today etc. I made it perfectly obvious that I never had a clue, but she chose to tell me the truth. After a bit of discussion and a bit of haggling I got what they refer to as a kit this consisted of: The HP Pavilion PC (the base unit) which is actually a mini tower standing a bit taller than a DVD case, about 4...

I had been looking everywhere for a reasonable priced train set within my sons age group, and I was getting really frustrated as the all seemed to be for children from 3 years. It was really annoying as every time he saw them in store he was really... more
