Advantages: THREE functions all for one technology / good value for money for all THREE functions Disadvantages: The COPY function gives average results. Ink cartridges are rapidly used up in premium photos
.... From then on, my TRUST in Hewlett Packard was fully established. As months passedthrough 2004, 2005, 2006, I settled in the routine of traditionally, upgrading from one HP printer to another of a greater, modernised standard to enjoy the benefits of HP technology with respect to everyday printing. So far, in 2007, the year of MODERN DAY electronics, I currently own a 'HP Deskjet F380' that is not just a simple printer. It is actually an ALL-IN-ONE hardware that is designed to combine the functions of (1) printer, (2) scanner and (3) a copier! Okay, it's time to make it 'crystal clear' with respect to how I became the KEEPER of the wonderful 'HP Deskjet F380' machine:

...is still wired connected, I hope it was wireless, but its not. Just for fun I wrote the next section about this cable…
-- IEEE-1284, what is that?!
I wasn’t going to write this section in the first place, but it I thought it’s funny to write a total section about this cable.
Anyway, this is the cable that connects the printer with the computer through the parallel port. I included a picture of the cable so you can get the picture of it. Anyway you must get this cable to be able to connect your printer to your PC, it’s around £ 7.25 in the market, but all depends on its length and its brand. By the way if anybody knows why HP doesn’t include this cable, I’ll be willing to know…
By the way HP has two models of this cable: HP IEEE 1284 Cable (a-b) 2 meter (C2950A) for $17.95 and HP IEEE 1284 Cable (a-b) 3 meter (C2951A) $22...

Advantages: Up and running in under a minute Disadvantages: Not the fastest, (but then what do you expect)
...That's the manufacturers claim for this industry first product and it's true. Just plug in the drive to an available USB port, install the drivers and software and your away, it could not be easier.
The HP family of DAT (DDS) drives is now in to it's 5th generation, and the reliability and performance has grown with each new model.
The big disadvantage of the previous offerings was the need to invest in costly SCSI cards and cables, but this fabulous product very cleverly brings an industry standard product in to the reach of the serious home user and small business user.
If you have ever suffered a system crash and lost critical or valuable data, you will know the heart sinking feeling of realising you've lost everything, and that sense of "Why didn't I back it up?"...... Well no more excuses, not only does this drive provide...
