Also present in the small brown packaging material was the POWER CORD (together with the inkjet cartridges) that I located in the 'print cartridge door'. This POWER CORD connects to the main sockets and the ADAPTER via two ends (mains plug and adapter plug). Elsewhere, in the box contents, the ADAPTER is present in a separate bubble wrap packaging and features the three-pin socket to fit the POWER cable. Advantages: Light weight tiny Laptop
Disadvantages: As it 2 or 3 years old a bit slow

...We bought the Compaq Armada M300 as a Christmas present for our 13 year old daughter, mainly for 2 reasons, to run Microsoft Encarta to enable her to do her HOMEWORK! And to run the Sims, she’d been asking for this for about 2 years and we were loathed to load it on the family’s computer for fear that nobody else would get a look in! The Computer, we found on E-Bay for £145 plus £18 postage, we were not particularly looking for a Compaq, but rather any Laptop that had a processor that met the Sims minimum requirement ( that being PII 300). The Compaq far surpassed that! And so we went ahead and made the purchase via Paypal on Sunday night and much to our delight it arrive at 7.30am on Tuesday morning. Advantages: compact

...The Compaq Evo D300v is a future proof PC for any bigginer or an ideal gift for a relative seeking his/her first/second PC. Its quite fast and is able to perform many tasks in a respectable amount of time. The 20GB Hard Disk isn't big but it's plenty of space if you just need a PC for general use, e.g. surfing the net and writing letters. It's not a paritcaully powerfull PC and only comes with basic sound and graphics capabilities, but this is fine for most people. This, like most PCs nowadays is Internet ready and it shouldn't take you too long to get that going. One of the big advantages is, its compact, if you don't wan't it to dominate your desk then I surpose it's the PC for you! As a Compaq PC you can expect high build qaulity and a PC that will last you, but you can often find better bargians with other companies.... Read review
