Advantages: Great Setup Disadvantages: Cant Find them in my area
...At present i am using a Compaq NX9030 laptop and i find it a great laptop to use, it has all the required features needed for a business.
Features:-
5 hotkeys
qwerty keyboard
number pad
mouse pad
and external mouse
There are tw usb ports which can be used for flash pens, external mouse etx, there is a headphone port, telephone line area, charger slot.
you can attatch a scanner/ printer to it. it has a bettery inside which lasts for a very long time, very duarble battery.
it features the Intel Centrino technology. The nx9030 is a middle-of-the-road model, with Intel's PentiumM 705 processor at 1.5 GHz. It also integrates 256MB of memory, a 40GB hard drive, a 15-inch display, a DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive, and an integrated 802.11b/802.11g chip.
excellent laptop for business, can be used within a local area netowrk or a wide area network....

Advantages: Robust design, trackpoint mouse. Disadvantages: Only 2 usb ports
...What a top class notebook for the price. Comes ready to use, straight out of the box, mine came with plenty of software to get me started on. The pentium processor and half a gig of ram, complete many tasks with ease. A nice matte 15" tft monitor, seems to resist scratches because of its non-shiny surface. It's trackpoint mouse takes a bit of time to get used too, but once you have cracked it, it is much better than the touchpads on most laptops. You have the ability to keep the whole of your hand still, and just use the tip of your finger to control the ball, and your thumb to click on the right and left mouse buttons, stopping your wrist from aching from sliding your hand across a pad. Fast dvd drive, able to watch films flawlessly. Decent soundcard considering it is in a laptop. Easily upgradeable RAM modules, and hard drive...

This really is what it says it is - Toshiba, the mark of quality and reliability, and Portege, meaning it is portable. The Toshiba Portege is an excellent laptop.

I for one, absolutely love the look of this acer. The bottom of the laptop just looks really cool, and the top looks ok too. One only criticism on the look, would be that the plastic at the tip of the screen is a little thick, but then again it does have more
I got this laptop as a presant from my dad. It is run on microsoft Vista which in my eyes isn't the best software but it does what it's supposed to do. With wireless i could connect to the bt home hub. Its the best presant i have recived yet!
