I have been a member of Hi LIfe Diners Club for approximately 4 years now and I think that it is excellent value for money.
Basically, when you join the Hi Life club you are sent a Hi Life card and restaurant directory. The directory lists hundreds of restaurants including a short description of what the restaurant is like, what you can expect to pay etc. Each restaurant offers a different deal on production of your Hi Life card, such as buy 3 courses get 3 for free, 50% reduction from the food bill, complimentary main course, 25% reduction from the food bill, and so on.The card is like a credit card but it is covered in tiny numbered squares. Each numbered square corresponds to a restaurant and when you use your card in that particular restaurant the square is marked off, unless the restaurant is marked as a 'repeat offer' restaurant in your directory, if this is the case you can use your card as many times as you like!!
The areas covered by the Hi LIfe directory are -.....quite a list!! The restaurants included range from pub type restaurants to really posh places like Rhodes & Co in Manchester which offers 3 courses free when you buy 3 courses!!! You only have to use your card once in a restaurant like this to get your money back!!
The current cost of Hi Life membership for 12 months is approximately 32.00 (ish) but you can opt to pay this over 10 months by direct debit at 3.20 (ish) a month, which you don't really notice. If you enjoy eating out, you don't even have to do it that regularly to get the benefit, I would definately recommend a Hi Life card. The main office is based at 5 Hardhorn Road, Poulton, telephone number 01253 884477 if you would like more information, they don't seem to have a website.
So don't waste any more time - or money - if you eat out get a Hi LIfe card.

No disrespect but it seems to me that you must either work for hi-life or have just copy and pasted their marketing spiel from their books or site. I have just posted a review myself tonight which I think gives the other side of the coin. Not a consumer review as such, more an insiders insight into the negative side of hi-life.
