Hi-Vis Jacket

Advantages: Can always be seen.
Disadvantages: Can't hide in them.

You have all seen these jackets being worn, and probably thought they were just like old oilskin made in yellow. This is not the case, they are state of the are highly visible coats, with tape designed to bounce light back to the source making them very difficult to miss. It will pay for itself next time you have to change a wheel, or find something in a dark corner of the boot, or any one of a dozen jobs that need a light holding on something, when you just don't have a spare hand. As for safety, they are a must, if you are concerned a vehicle has not seen you, a quick glance in their direction should do the trick, plus the fact that there should be enough light shining on your hi-vis jacket (you do use one when changing a wheel don't you).
