What could have been one of the best games of all-time is partially ruined because of certain aspects. Frustratingly this game does so many things well, that the frailties that I am going to mention later only amplify how frustrating this game is.

of World War II, sending you behind enemy lines and giving you some tricky challenges to overcome. Happily, it gives you some significant tools: there's the squad of soldiers you must hand pick, for instance, taking into account qualities such as stealth, shooting and lock picking. Then there's the arsenal of weaponry, ranging from quiet and effective daggers through to a loud and brash bazooka. And on top of that there are factors such as your compass, the odd disguise and items such as wirecutters. It's a lot to wrap your head round at first, although a solid training level helps you negotiate the learning curve. Once you're into the game, things become very tense, very involving and very good fun. You command a team of soldiers, and it's credit to the developers that their AI is of a standard to genuinely make you feel in charge. You also have a certain level of freedom in how you take on the varied, detailed missions you're presented with, often leaving you needing to decide whether to take out the enemy or attempt to crawl right past them. Hidden & Dangerous 2 is, ultimately, a genuinely challenging game with a long lifespan. It has the odd niggle here and there, but these are far outweighed by the superb blend of tactics, action and stealth that the game presents. It may take a little work to get into, but make the effort and you'll find this to be one of the best-value games you'll buy. It's compelling entertainment. --Simon Brew

Advantages: Good graphics, good gameplay, innovative AI Disadvantages: Buggy, Buggy, Buggy, and Buggy
What could have been one of the best games of all-time is partially ruined because of certain aspects. Frustratingly this game does so many things well, that the frailties that I am going to mention later only amplify how frustrating this game is. The plot is fairly standard, you are in enemy territory the year is 1941 you have to get through the Axis-infested part of Europe in order to escape. Certain members excel at different aspects, so it is up to you to get the balance correct for the way you play the game. You have a squadron of 4 men each of whom can be controlled independently via using the numbers 1-4 to select between them. Graphics wise, whilst this game is a little old now, the graphics are still good enough to ...

...cigarette lighter to it.
Hidden and Dangerous is great fun. Set in World War Two's Axis-infested Europe, you lead a commando team through six different campaigns, and 40 different missions, in an attempt to, well, be a pain in the arse to Hitler and co.
The graphics are good for their day, and the game runs well. The objectives within the game are diverse, and the storyline is also good. You can be shot down in your transport one minute, and overrunning ... ...impressive about Hidden and Dangerous is the game engine. I'm currently running an AMD 300 (not for long, mind), and the game runs perfectly, with little or no lag (daft loading times though).
Hidden and Dangerous is essentially a squad-based FPS game, but the emphasis is on strategy. Move seamlessly between players and camera modes, making sure your troops are doing exactly what you want them to do.
For the strategic side of things, the third ...

Advantages: Great atmosphere, memorable missions, and a variety of firearms Disadvantages: Dirt-stupid AI, atrocious controls, and glitch-o-rama collision
Hidden & Dangerous is a World War Two-era lark that almost elevates squad-based gameplay to the next level - but is tripped up by an avalanche of unforgivable bugs.
Hidden & Dangerous unfolds through six linear campaigns, ranging from surgical strikes to escort missions throughout war-torn Europe. Before each campaign, you select four commandos and deck them out with as much firepower as they can carry. You'll probably want to do this manually, ... ...At first glance, Hidden & Dangerous will bring back memories of Zombie's Spec Ops, with its similar third-person view tracking your squad members. However, a keypress will drop you into a Quake-style first-person mode, which is indispensable for navigating the game's indoor environments. Using the keypad, you can bark orders to your fellow commandos, or simply switch characters and let the computer take control of the other soldiers. As its name ...

...time, look no further than Hidden and Dangerous as it will test you to the limit! It’s one of the best first person shooters on the market and a brilliant strategy game at the same time and worthy of the accolades that it has been given. As I said at the start of this opinion, this is both a first person shooter and a strategy game rolled into one. Have Take 2 and Talonsoft got it right? Yes they have and hopefully they will produce more of ... ...in World War II, with all the weapons and vehicles that were around at the time. There’s nothing but historical stuff for you to use here so don’t be looking for the microwave gun to fry the Nazis with! The missions are all set in Europe and see you taking out airfields, destroying harbours, ambushing German Officers, Infiltrating German camps, rescuing your men and other allies and a lot more besides! There’s plenty of missions ...

Hidden & Dangerous is heavy on realism, with all the weapons, characters, music and environments tailored to create a distinctive historical atmosphere that draws you in right from the onset. You can switch control among your four soldiers and smooth camera control allows you to alternate between 3rd and 1st person viewpoints as you traverse some immense 3D environments. When you think of rockstar games you think GTA. This means violence and blowing stuff up. However, it also means innovative gameplay and groundbreaking ideas. This is where Table Tennis comes in. I was a bit sceptical about buying a table tennis game and more
