Hide and Seek - James Patterson

Hide and Seek is yet another of author James Patterson's book to have hit the bestseller #1 spot and for very good reason. Quite a different style from Black Market (see separate review) but a thoroughly enjoyable book. Maggie is a singer who suffers under the hands of her husbands. Yes, not one but two - and they both end up dead. Was it murder or was it self-defense? How far will a mother go to protect her daughter from a courtroom interrogation - enough to be prepared to serve a life-sentence? ...books and today I read Hide and Seek. I dont mean I started it I mean I read the whole thing! I just couldn't put it down. Maggie is a abused wife who shoots her husband after he beats her and her daughter Jennie just one to many times. She shoots him in self defence but she blames herself. Advantages: Thrilling and intertaining
Disadvantages: Can be graphic

.... Lindsay and her group finally uncover the murderer, or is he the murderer, or who is the murderer. This book keeps you gripped until the very, very end. I read this 471 page book in less than three days. Like most of my opinions of movies and books I do not like to give away the whole plot or the ending. I recommend this book to all James Patterson fans as well as anyone who enjoys these mystery thrillers.
