...this is , but Business and Economics students tend to be quite attractive! The only downside is that the building is at the base of campus at the bottom of a hill, meaning it’s usually the furthest from halls, difference of about 1min, and after tiring lectures you have to climb that hill again....

Advantages: Taking advanatge of the resits opportunity. Disadvantages: Exam board / government calamities result in unfairness to pupils, blighting their opportunities...

Advantages: FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING Disadvantages: NOT SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE
...required can be as low as BBC for less popular courses but I would say at least 3 Bs is normal.
There are two main sections of colleges: hill and Bailey colleges. The hill colleges are, as the name suggest, on a hill just outside Durham. Don't be worried by the term "outside Durham", it's small enough that the centre is only about 10 minutes walk from the hill colleges. The Bailey colleges are situated onthe Bailey which is in the old quarter of Durham. So are you going to go to a hill or a Bailey college. Without wanting to stereotype the hill colleges are better for laid back people who aren't interested in joining the rahs of Durham. Hill colleges have a reputation for friendliness and are seen as more welcoming. The Bailey Colleges are well situated for central Durham and aremore traditional. I'll try to summarise the colleges below...
