...The Formac 1740 is a fantastic TFT. I have set a number of these up for clients and the refresh times, viewing angles and the sheer size of the screen make them ideal for watching DVDs, playing games and generally using the computer. Gone are the days of ghosting that used to be associated with TFTs.
Great as these are, I would like to make sure anyone intending to buy one of these is aware of a few points which may cause hic-ups in setting up if you intend to use this on a PC.
1. As the brand name would suggest these are intended "FOR MACs" as in the Apple Macintosh. Only recently within the past couple of years have the manufacturer really started promoting them and making them properly compatible with PCs. As such, some of the monitors still come with an ADC connection which is the standard for Macintosh computer displays...

BLAH BLAH BLAH ... yes, I know, it's all techie garbage, I agree with you, but you do have to worry about these things.
Anyway, in the last week or so, I took delivery of a H5550 at work and got ready to fire it up, all expectantly, and was highly delighted with the results. It was easy to set up a connection with my desktop PC which allows you to synchronise your information between both PC's and another one as well. You use the same ActiveSync software which handles the Jornada synchronisation and are soon up and running.
The H5550 is a beautiful little gadget, measuring 5.23" (not including antenna nub) x 3.3" x .63" and weighing 7.29 oz (according to PDA Buyers Guide http://www.pdabuyersguide.com/ipaq5555.htm). That same site, also provides the following technical data:

This device have I bought in the Mediamarkt and 799 euros would usually have cost it, since, however, this device was a projector cost it 749 euros only, an impressive price for this device, it, however, is also the top class and lifts considerably of its competitors out.

I am more than satisfied with this device and my boss is quite enthusiastic even if he still has difficulties with the operation a little.
This device offers can one have this one for a very impressive price, all luxury at a PDA.
Absolutely brilliantly I find the Geräteschutz over the fingerprint, is giving not, also W Lan something sure well at the moment and Firewire isn't a problem with this device at all and therefore one can connect it with another equipment fast...
