The HighPoint RocketRAID 2300 PCI Express to SATA II RAID Controller is the next generation for high performan- ce computing solutions utilizing the latest interconnect technology PCI-Express. The RocketRAID 2300 is set to give much faster and improved I/O and supports features that are critical for high performance computing, high end workstation and enterprise storage server environments. PCI Express delivers data transfer in both directions simulta- neously with its serial data transfer system and brings with it higher clock speeds. Each expansion slot in PCI Express can have several channels which gives plenty of room for expansion. There is also the same data rate in both directions providing the performance and scal-ability for the next decade. The HighPoint RocketRAID 2300 Controller offers 4 internal ports that combine high-performance storage connectivity of Serial ATA with HighPoint's advanced RAID features, includi-ng, Online Capacity Expansion, Online RAID Level Migration (OCE/ORLM) and HighPoint's RAID Management software. The RocketRAID 2300 supports advanced RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 10 and JBOD for maximum configuration flexibility. HighPoint offers the broadest range of support for all major operating systems to ensure OS and hardware server comp-atibility. Drivers are available for all major operating systems, including Windows, Linux, FreeBSD and Mac OS X. Open source is also providedfor Linux and FreeBSD.

...Nice PC Designed mostly for business use since graphics card is not for the up to date games. It has an internet adapter integrated in the system and something that is even more useful.... a card reader! These card readers can read the memory cards of your mobile phone, video camera (if your video camera has a memory card) or you digital camera! The power supply of this computer is just right for this HP Compaq Business Desktop dx2300 PC. The keyboard and the mouse is provided. Its good to see these are provided since in some other bundles are not. The monitor for this PC is not provided but hey!!!.... its quite cheap to buy so why don't you go and buy a monitor as well?...

...I have just purchased this colour laser printer for printing a small magazine in house. With the addition of the scanner / copier it will turn my printer into a multifunction printer / photocopier. For the price, compared to many other colour lasers, I thought that it would be of poor build quality. I am happy to report that it is a sturdy machine, weighing in at 28kg.
It was so simple to get ready to connect to the computer, the only problem was setting up the software. The manual advises not using the found new hardware wizard, but without it it just won't detect.
The print quality is stunning, even on normal paper. The 1200 x 600 dpi is more than adequate for most needs. Being someone who has mainly used HP on account of their high standards, I am very pleased with this machine.

...My Logitech Z 2300 speaker systems are connected to my desktop PC, this produces an amazing experience with both film and music. They cetainly provide plenty of volume.
The satelite speakers have removable grills which unclip to reveal shiny aluminium domes, they plug into the sub via phono connectors. These look great on my desk.
The sub woofer is very large and lakes up quite alot of room under my desk but this is worth the sacrafice. The bass is amazing, and is free of distorion. We have just finished having building work done and the first time I turned the sub woofer up full it shook all the dust from the rooms wall and ceiling. The only problem with it is that on full volume it has a tedency to hit its grill which I'm worried could damage it. It only has one input (a headphone type plug) but i havent found this a problem...

Very good speakers which, when turned up will make most buildings shake. You won't find any other speakers for this price that deliver the same sort of power. Combine that with THX certified quality and you are on to a winner.
