The HighPoint RocketRAID 2310 PCI Express to SATA II RAID Controller is the next generation for high performance computing solutions utilizing the latest interconnect PCI-Express. The RocketRAID 2310 is set to give much faster and improved I/O and supports features that are critical for high performance computing, high end workstation and enterprise storage server environments. PCI Express delivers data transfer in both directions simultaneously with its serial data transfer system and brings with it higher clock speeds. Each expansion slot in PCI Express can have several channels which gives plenty of room for expansion. There is also the same data rate in both directions providing the performance and scalability for the next decade. The HighPoint RocketRAID 2310 Controller offers 4 internal ports that combine high-performance storage connectivity of Serial ATA with HighPoint's advanced RAID features including (OCE / ORLM) - Online Capacity Expansion and Online RAID Level Migration and HighPoint's RAID Management software. The RocketRAID 2310 supports advanced RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 10, and JBOD for maximum configuration flexibility.

...with features at a great price. A lot of scratching on my head was done before I decided that the Sony Vaio NR10 was the one for me.
It was quite a battle in the end between the Dell 1520 and the Sony NR10 Laptop as they both offered great value, but the Sony just had that extra bit of sparkle about it to make me part with my cash

First of all the Sony Vaio NR10 has a superb 15.4" 1280 x 800 high resolution screen that is truly stunning to both look at (very slick indeed) and use, then there's a massive 2GM of ram (memory) which is over twice that of my previous Laptop. The state of the art processor 'Intel Pentium Dual Core T2310 / 1.46 GHz' is another very strong point as it now allows me to surf the internet extremely quickly, almost effortlessly and cuts out all the stress out of online activity.
