The RocketRAID 2640X4 is high-performance SAS RAID solution, delivering reliability to demanding data-intensive applications such as tiered storage environments, security and surveillance, video editing, and digital content creation. Support for both SAS and SATA 3Gb/s drives on the same controller maintains configuration optimization for performance based on the characteristics of SAS and SATA drives available today.

Advantages: VERY Fast, Great Images/Pictures Disadvantages: NOT powerfull to play high demand games from the internet
...The greats & the wills.
The Sony Vaoi is a great little machine! It runs very fast great for the internet and for a laugh to your friends. All the feature on the Sony are great better a desktop XP computer. Most games work on the Sony laptop great speed for some games. Ram is a highpoint on this laptop and is the best if you use BroadBand.
The bads & the wonts
There is no bads. The wonts there is only one that is if you like to play games you have downloaded from the internet freely or paid for the download the game play is poor but is still great for home use!!
The Sony Vaoi A217 is highly recommended to any home user...

Advantages: Doesn't strain the eyes, Good quality Disadvantages: Heavy, Expensive compared to alternatives
...Got this monitor with a PC I bought in January 1999 and since then it's lasted me through 3 other machines to my current one.
Whenever I have bought a new computer, I have always moved this monitor to the new machine, and used the monitor shipped with the new machine on the old one.

The image quality is excellent as is the support for different resolutions and refresh rates. The fact that the screen is almost completely flat is also a highpoint for this product.
I can use this monitor in direct sunlight and not have to worry too much about the reflection/glare, which is very useful as my eyesight is not the best.
My main gripe...

Silent ninja Review ofMaxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 60 GBby

Advantages: Fast, quiet, great RAID 0 performance Disadvantages: 1 year warranty
...I received two of these (60Gb) as replacements for my previous disk (DiamondMax D740X 60Gb, which I also review here on Ciao) which were faulty.
I didn't really get off to a good start, as one as of the disks was dead on arrival. It failed to be recognised by the BIOS on any of my machines, and the only controller which so much as acknowledged the drive's presence was my HighPoint 374. It appeared as a 'Maxtor CALYPSO' (the drive's codename), and the controller failed to boot. This indicated an electronics problem and duly, I returned it.
On receiving my replacement drive, I striped it together as RAID 0 with the other one and crossed my fingers. From here on out it was nothing but good news! The drives are both exceptionally quiet - Maxtor has replaced the old ball-bearing motors with FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing) ones, which...
