This isn't the first one I bought - but I soon got rid of the other one and replaced it with this one, and have been happy about it ever since. This comes well-packaged up, and is fairly simple to setup and install. Simply follow the instructions and plug it into the phone socket in your wall. The router comes with a DSL filter (nice - saves you buying one) to plug into the wall. Advantages: Just about everything you'd look for on a desktop PC
Disadvantages: Virtually no expansion

...Sony can't claim to have 'invented' the concept of an all-in-one media centre PC, but their VGC range of VAIO systems have to be one of the most comprehensive efforts available in the market. Numerous attempts have been made to produce a 'do it all' PC system in one box, I recall Compaq toyed with the idea in the mid 1990s, but in those days, 'multimedia' simply meant a CD drive and a sound card! - Apple have made fairly serious attempts with their G5 range of Imacs, but Sony are, as far as I know, been the only manufacturer to make such a system based on 'wintel' architecture. I've just bought a VAIO VGC-V2S system to replace my domestic 'server farm' which previously occupied a substantial proportion of my dining room.
