...Are you a vegetarian who is bored of the same old boring and bland vegetarian food? Or are you a meat eater who is at a loss to know what to cook for your veggie dinner guests? Well, either way, this is definitely the book for you!
I received Linda McCartney on Tour as a birthday present earlier this year, and it is definitely the best vegetarian cook book I have used. It contains practical, straightforward, varied and appetising vegetarian dishes which will appeal to just about everyone!
Most people will be aware that, before her untimely death after a long battle against cancer, Linda McCartney was not only the wife of ex-Beatle Paul, but was an ardent campaigner against animal cruelty and in particular against eating meat. Advantages: Amazing Pictures, Captivating Words Disadvantages: It ended far too quickly!
...Cloud Wolf is the prequel to the popular EDGE Chronicles. It is short, but sweet, and, at only £1, it's a bargain!
It tells of a boy called Quintinius Verginix, son of a Sky-Pirate captain. The young pirate is soon thrust into a dangerous sky battle, against the mighty Leagueship "The Great Sky Whale." I don't want to spoil the rest of the story - suffice to say it is immense.
The illustrations are wonderfully crisp, and the writing has been superbly thought out and structured.
Although this is a Childrens book, I have known adults enjoy it immensly, and I myself still re-read it often.
All in all, it is a fantastic investment for £1, and it is still one of my favourite books, so buy it now!...

Advantages: Inexpensive and captivating taster. Disadvantages: Could be slightly longer.
...Cloud Wolf is a great book and perfect for getting children and young teens into reading! The story follows a teenager called Quint, aspiring sky pirate and brave warrior. In this short book, we are introduced to a brave new hero who one day wishes to be the captain of his own ship but for now, he must fight through hordes of goblins in a mission which may well put him right in the dangerous areas of The Edge. I absolutely loved this book, especially as I felt I had achieved something in obtaining a limited edition book and a good one at that! I hope that anyone trying to get their hands on a copy, just as I did, will have been helped by this review and be even more urged to buy it for themselves, their children or anyone looking for a good book which won't stretch their schedules....
