We all have those days when the family's come round, and your daughter/sister decides to show off her singing. How fast that room clears. We've had to endure the torture of two fims based on exactly the same plot, the poor singing during the numbers and the young girls and even boys screaming out every god foresaken word. Why then create a highschool musical singing game?! Do the publishers want us to rip off our ears and shove anything to hand down the singers throat!? This is not a musical; it's high fool's ridicule.

The game itself is based litterally on shouting down a mic and a machine telling you you sing well. This machine clearly has no ears. For this noise pollution you earn points to then buy, new places to sing in. It's exactly the same places but with different lighting! And new characters, which all sound exactly the same, and even look the same, hell the white guy's got an Afro! Sreiously, its a point based unlocking game where the singer earns points for *technical* singing not good singing.

The game incorperates absolutely zero of the wii functions. The nunchuk isn't used and the pointer rarely. Instead of infer red mics, the mics have to be plugged in the back of the wii making it no better than the PS2 version. The only thing greater on the wii than PS2 is the insane price tag. When have we had to pay for torture?

There is no online function for the game, so the idea of a singoff between two people is missed. But two people can do a duet to double the torture. Having the game over the wi fi or broadband connection would be much better than just signing to unlock new tracksuits or lighting.

To conclude the High School Musical franchise has been absolutley drained of all money making potentional and the publishers are now dregging the body for the remains. This game has been the product of that. The price is outrageous for something like that and frankly its a chore to play or even listen to.
