The Chicco Polly is too big, bulky and not easy to clean.

Advantages: Looks great, easy to move, better for younger babies when first weaning.
Disadvantages: Seat not upright enough, hard to clean.

This highchair looks good and is available in a good range of funky fabric designs. It has a lot of features, a seat insert for smaller babies, parent tray, storage bag, removable tray with dishwashable overlay, adjustable footrest, adjustable height and a fully reclining seat. However even after all this I was surprisingly underwhelmed. Perhaps it's a case of too many features considering the actual amount of time spent using the product is fairly ...
...at just the right angle. My son was always slightly too laid back, he would sit upright away from the back of the seat so got no back support at all. He never fell asleep after eating so never made use of the recline feature, plus I'm not sure I'd want to leave him sleeping in a highchair, surely you would transfer them to bed. The adjustable height feature was useful when he was first weaned so didn't sit at table height but at a lower height in ...

Review of Chicco Polly Double Phase High Chair

Fab but do beware...

Advantages: Straight up at the table
Disadvantages: Can tip over and your child can mark your table!

Really like thic chair and it does exactly what we wanted it to. Our second son was straight at the table and joined in family meals as soon as he started solid food. It is pricey but we intend to use it until it breaks! Our first son wants one and we are planning on getting our third son the same as soon as he's ready. The only drawback was that our son could tip it over which meant we had to keep a close eye on him and could never just pop into ...
...children doing this but it isn't that common and isn't putting us off buying another. The other drawback is that as your child is straight at the table are able to mark your table so maybe an optional try would be good for those with expensive tables -we just rotate our son around the table so it's equally bashed all over! ...

Chicco's excallent Happy Snack Highchair

Advantages: folds flat, reclines, tray comes off easily, underchair storage.
Disadvantages: Can be difficult to collapse impossible if you only have one hand free, bits get trapped.

My son learnt how to get out of his waist high highchair which was meant to keep him in place by a lap strap after only using it three times. I was paranoid about leaving him even for a second while he was in it so I went in search for a new, more secure highchair for him. I bought this simply because I thought the description sounded like what I needed and happened to be on sale. It took me about 10 minutes to put it together and to figure out how ...
...figure out how to recline the seat. The whole thing is sturdy and the straps have taken a fair bit of beating from my son. We've had it for just over 9months and it's still in near perfect condition. Possibly one of the best baby buys so far, even if it was more money than I would usually have spent. ...

Review of Chicco Happy Snack Highchair

Brilliant high chair if like me you need one from 4/5 months

Advantages: Very easy to use, compact when folded
Disadvantages: Doesn't come with a basket underneath, not sure you need one but be nice to be offered

I struggled to find a high chair for my 4 and half month old as many are 6 months plus, then I came across this one which really is excellent. Mine is different colour to one shown- White with dots has light blue tray underneath and white tray on top. This high chair has several height positions so my daughter can sit up high while im cooking in the kitchen or sit down low if im feeding her on the sofa. It also has 3 recline positions which is so ...
...you need to give some bottle in the middle of feeding. It also comes with a main tray and a detachable tray on top- to be honest I haven't needed the 2nd tray yet but im sure it will come in handy when im doing 3 feeds a day. The main reason I love this high chair so much is because I can push the tray right in to my daughter so I dont have to use the straps, the tray keeps her in place. There are 2 ways to release the tray with one hand you can ...

Eating Like a Big Boy

Advantages: All Round Brilliant
Disadvantages: none at all

A review on..... Fisher Price Healthy Care High Chair Now that Jack is starting to eat puréed food I thought that it was about time that we forked out and got him a high chair. It was quite a decision to make, as there are so many different ones available on the market. The first thing we looked at was the clean ability of the high chair and the main factor in this is if the food tray can be removed. As my partner works in a restaurant he knows ...
...the chair. This Fisher Price Healthy Care High Chair really did tick all of the boxes and far more besides. There is also the added bonus of it being blue checked in colour which is better than it being in pink for a boy, even though getting it for a girl would still be ok. We bought this high chair from Argos for £64.99pence because we had a £5 voucher from a previous purchase that we had made so the catalogue price is £69.99p and because we spent ...
