The Chicco Polly is too big, bulky and not easy to clean.

Advantages: Looks great, easy to move, better for younger babies when first weaning.
Disadvantages: Seat not upright enough, hard to clean.

This highchair looks good and is available in a good range of funky fabric designs. It has a lot of features, a seat insert for smaller babies, parent tray, storage bag, removable tray with dishwashable overlay, adjustable footrest, adjustable height and a fully reclining seat. However even after all this I was surprisingly underwhelmed. Perhaps it's a case of too many features considering the actual amount of time spent using the product is fairly ...
...at just the right angle. My son was always slightly too laid back, he would sit upright away from the back of the seat so got no back support at all. He never fell asleep after eating so never made use of the recline feature, plus I'm not sure I'd want to leave him sleeping in a highchair, surely you would transfer them to bed. The adjustable height feature was useful when he was first weaned so didn't sit at table height but at a lower height in ...

Review of Chicco Polly Double Phase High Chair

Chicco's excallent Happy Snack Highchair

Advantages: folds flat, reclines, tray comes off easily, underchair storage.
Disadvantages: Can be difficult to collapse impossible if you only have one hand free, bits get trapped.

My son learnt how to get out of his waist high highchair which was meant to keep him in place by a lap strap after only using it three times. I was paranoid about leaving him even for a second while he was in it so I went in search for a new, more secure highchair for him. I bought this simply because I thought the description sounded like what I needed and happened to be on sale. It took me about 10 minutes to put it together and to figure out how ...
...figure out how to recline the seat. The whole thing is sturdy and the straps have taken a fair bit of beating from my son. We've had it for just over 9months and it's still in near perfect condition. Possibly one of the best baby buys so far, even if it was more money than I would usually have spent. ...

Review of Chicco Happy Snack Highchair

Chicco Mamma Highchair

Advantages: good for younger babies as it has a three position reclining feature
Disadvantages: rather large high chair

I was looking for a highchair that had a reclining feature, as i was ready to wean my baby at 4 months and after doing my reasearch, this was one of the only ones that was suitable as it reclines back enough to support a baby who cannot yet sit up. It also has an adjustable height feature and wheels which is very useful if your like me and like to vary where you feed your baby. I found the plactic tray which slots on the front (though not very easily) ...
...my baby when it was attached. Though this will probably become more useful as she gets older and starts to feed herself. The seat and straps are very comfortable and really hold her in place and it it very secure. It is quite a large (and wide) highchair and if you dont have space in your home it might be difficult to find room to store it, though it does fold up quite narrow so fits down the side of the wardrobe. I the rrp a bit much so found ...

Chicco Quick Adjust Table Seat

Advantages: takes up less room, easy to clean & adjust
Disadvantages: see review

...after and came across the Chicco one on Amazon. It was priced at around £30 which is about right and in the same ballpark as the standing ones. I have since found this seat available in Mothercare, John Lewis and Boots and in two other designs. I have the Seventy design which is pictured above. The only reservation I had about this chair was if it would hook onto my table. I have an IKEA wooden table and there are wooden bits on the bottom. When ...
...see if it would fit ... YAY! It fit quite easily! I took the rest out and there was the seat itself, the two metal arms that attach to the table and one other metal bit for the seat. I found it easy to slot the metal bits into place and under the table it was just a matter of placing the arms and pushing the adjustable fixers and twisting the handle to the locked position. The only part I found rather tricky was snapping the poppers to hook the seat ...

Review of Chicco Pratique Table Seat

Fantastic

Advantages: Loads!!
Disadvantages: None

This product is great. The tot seat will fit over practically any chair and come in a funky range of colours and designs. I have always worried when taking my little girl out to eat as the highchairs are always filthy and booster seats can be difficult to carry around. The tot seat was the answer to my prayers. Now I take my own and it's small enough to fit in the smallest of change bags. My liitle girl absolutly loves it so must be very comfy and ...
