A useful practical multiheight highchair Advantages: Can be lowered or highered. Convenient. Disadvantages: None The mamas and papas 3 in 1 highchair is a brightly coloured plastic multilevel chair. It is blue, yellow and green in colour. It has a plastic yellow tray which is sturdy and can only be removed by unclipping two clips at the same time. It has a wide base, making it difficult to tip over. The chair can be easily highered and lowered into two separate positions, making it convenient for the child to sit at different levels. It is made of brightly coloured plastic which is easy to clean and the cushion insert is also plastic for easy cleaning. Too expensive - don't bother! Advantages: Great with the tilt back for young babies Disadvantages: Awful to clean ...I actually wrote to Mamas and Papas and said that I really liked the chair, but it hadnt been very well thought out as it is so difficult to clean. They answered along the lines of "others seem happy with it". The 5 point harness is ok, but quite difficult to click in. As the chair is on wheels, this is also a bit of a nightmare now, as my son pushes against the table to push the chair back. This is with the locks on the wheels!! Advice for any ... K Goldin Advantages: Price, adjustable tray, tray insert, lightweight and compact Disadvantages: 3 point harness that doesn't detatch, tray insert just rests on top of tray We bought this chair at the weekend. We were sold on its lightness, cute kitchen pattern, adjustable tray and tray insert, and the price of £35. Getting it home, it was very light and easy to assemble. The tray screws on with 4 screws and the legs pop on. In use, its fine, but there are some things that aren't so great. - The tray insert doesn't snap in, just rests in a lip of the main tray. I see a potential missile. - The harness doesn't come ... ...3point harness with the shoulder straps attached to the waist belt. - My son is quite small for his age and I am not able to adjust the straps to be very tight. Therefore it doesn't feel very secure. He couldn't fall out, but as he has just learned to sit up and wobbles a bit I would've liked more security. -The main tray doesn't come off at all, making it harder to clean. - The tray adjusts with a handle on either side. Very happy with it Advantages: wipe clean and stand on its own when folded Disadvantages: I guess some people would like different seat positions? As the title says I have been very happy with this chair. WE bought it 2.5 years ago for our oldest daughter and I have never regretted buying it. In fact I have often looked at friends more expensive chairs and been secretly pleased that we bought this one. What mainly attracted me was the fact that it could stand unaided when folded. but what I would sell it on now is the ease that it cleans. Just a squirt of household cleaner and it cleans wonderfully. ... ...a new one for our second child as it still looks that good. The Tray comes off completely and the chair is at perfect height for a adult table so once baby gets a little older you can actually include him/her at the table If you wish. Chicco Happy Snack Highchair -negative points put this chair down Advantages: stability, price, safety, choice of colours Disadvantages: very limited adjustable features, difficult to store, difficult to clean, impractical tray ...and my little one fits perfectly there. OK, no footrest and no padding, but for £10.99 + £4.00 for the tray it's a real treat.
