Review of Mothercare Pine Cube High Chair by Jselwood

Advantages: Best buy and can be used for when he is older
Disadvantages: Bulky, does'nt fold away, needs insert and a harness

I bought this highchair nearly 2 months ago, my son is now coming up to 8 months. I wanted something I can use for him as a table and chair, for when he is old. I wanted something that wasn't useless when he has outgrown it, I knew about this highchair before I even bought it. It was rated on the which website as best buy, so that was it I wanted it!! I can't believe how impressed I am with it, it is a best buy by far. The only problems with is ...
...in a flat is a bit of a pain but well to use it when he wants to do painting or drawing when he's older if fab so I don't really mind!! Also I had to buy a insert for it as my son slid on the bottom of the chair and I had to buy a harness!! Also getting my son out of it is difficult!! ... Read review

A Boost for your Toddler's Bottom!
Review of Mothercare Basic Booster Seat by mummy2harry

Advantages: Easy to clean, look great, adjustable, easy to take places
Disadvantages: None

...available to buy in most Mothercare stores, of which there are many around the country. Alternatively, you can also order the seat online for a price of £11.99 plus a postage charge of £3.95. For the money, it is a great product which is robust, hygenic, comfortable and great for teaching children how to sit up the table properly. I'd throughly recommend it. For more information on this seat, and other types of booster seats, see the Mothercare website ... Read review

Well darling, we're eating out tonight
Review of Mothercare High Chair by theseahorse

Advantages: it is cheap
Disadvantages: it only has one fixed position

...relative merits of the standard Mothercare highchair. There were two designs, pale blue with a green tray and frogs and ladybirds on the seat, or pale blue and lilac with a pale blue tray and cup cakes on the seat. Considering they only cost just under £30, compared with £99.99 for the all-singing all-dancing Mothercare Chigago Deluxe we bought the froggy/ladybird one. We also fancied the idea of attacking it with a garden hose from time to time. ...
...and the tray. The standard Mothercare highchair does have some plusses though: "Well darling, we're eating out tonight." Because the highchair is so cheap, we spent many fun teatimes throughout the summer eating at the bottom of the garden. We wern't too precious over it and we could just hose it down and leave it to dry out in the sun. "Well darling, we're eating out again." We found this particular highchair in many of the restaurants/cafes in ... Read review

You'll need muscles & patience - sit this one out!
Review of Mothercare Antigua Star High Chair by scala333

Advantages: Does the job, attractive, good tray
Disadvantages: Very hard to adjust height & other features

I bought the Mothercare Antigua highchair for my daughter 2 couple of years ago - it seemed to have good reviews online and in baby magazines, and seemed sturdy, with an attractive pastel pattern on the seat itself. I notice that the product is now the "Antigua Star", so maybe some of the features have improved, but here's what I thought of the original model. Once I got it home and tried to assemble it for the first time, adjusting the height and ...
...I trapped my finger quite painfully when trying to open the legs out; I found the instructions difficult to follow and the mechanisms unnecessarily complicated. There are red tab buttons which you need to push down on with quite a lot of force, and you have to pull on the arms of the chair, in order to swing the legs out, and I never managed to master this - even Grandad was flummoxed and more than a little bit vexed with this! I never got the hang ... Read review

Lovely, traditional wooden highchair!
Review of Mothercare Country Convertible High Chair by sarahpoo

Advantages: Converts to table and chair, very easy to clean
Disadvantages: Dosn't fold up

...wooden traditional looking highchair in mothercare for £100, but knew I wouldnt be able to afford it! Luckerly whilst in a baby shop (Great Expectations) in my town, I noticed the same highchair which was marked up 'ex shop display £60'. I was delighted! I purchased it straight away! When my daughter was about 4 months old we started to use the highchair, it was great! The tray was removable and went in a couple of positions, and as it changes to ...
...are two hooks at the back of the chair to attach straps to to keep your child in and secure. As everyone knows, it gets very messy at meal times and the highchair would get very very messy! But it is very easy to clean, as it is varnished it just wipes clean. Once my daughter got to about 2 years old we changed it to the table and chair she loved it, she was able to eat her dinner at her own table and also use it for drawing, play dough and other ...
