A great topical powder which can be added to any skin care regime and contains over 99% vitaminC. VitaminC, when applied topically to the skin is a potent anti toxidant and promotes the production of collagen. It also assists in preventing premature againg, helps with the overall tone, texture and softness of the skin.
It has been proven that used daily through protection from environmental radicals it will hold back the affects of aging. this could be bought inexpensively from Boots: 60g of pure ascorbic acid for £4 as the basic price, but frequently available on special offer at considerably less. It comes in a small white tub with an orange label on the side, and is usually shelved with other VitaminC products.
? Using the powder ?
To use the powder, it has to be stirred into some kind of drink. Water is suggested on the container, but the taste is so bitter and acidic that I can't manage it that way. However it's quite acceptable in fruit juice; orange or pineapple are the best, in my experience. There's a tangy taste which is evident, but it's not unpleasant on the whole.
