Higher Nature Starflower Oil 1000mg

Advantages: Good for skin and energy
Disadvantages: Not good for everyone, cost, taste

...or a capsule. To be honest there is only two things that separate them. The first is of course the taste. It doesn't taste fishy like some would assume but instead just oily. I always feel like I'm preparing the cook chips when I take the liquid form. The capsule form is tasteless but of course is big and some may find it difficult to swallow. The second is the concentration. You will (or at least should) always find that the liquid is a much higher concentration then the capsule. Advantages: Much cheaper than boots, ingredients are identical
Disadvantages: remembering to take them every day!

...Hi I have been taking 2 capsules of the Starflower Oil every day for almost 2 weeks and have noticed the difference with the PMT and bloated feeling that I have always suffered from before and during a period . The Starflower Oil has definately improved the above and left me less moody and no cramp either so it cant be all bad. You can also buy Tesco or Asda's own brand Starflower Oil for much cheaper than Boots. Asda is selling 60 500mg capsules for £2.48 (Tesco is slightly higer at £1.50 for 30 500mg capsules). I am using the Tesco ones at the moment and they are definately working for the better. It is too early to say about the skin improvement, hair & nails however I have noticed that I am not as hungry (co-incidence, I am not sure yet) but I do feel much better than every other period I have had for the last two... ..., or any time there is lready sun. As it is rich in vitamin D if you take it in the winter you are topping yourself up with a necessary vitamin your body cant so easily access. If you take it whilst the sun is out, your body may be getting an unnecessary overdose of the vitamin. Don't take it if you have been advised to take omega 3, take a separate supplement with just omega 3 (and maybe 6 and 9 in it). --The tablet itself - Contents, sizes etc-- The most commonly purchased CLO within Holland and Barrett is High strength 1000mg as it is constantly on promotion, Therefore this is the one I am going to take the contents from.
