Now this being my first car and it a Mini Cooper, I was expecting a fairly high price, even with my Pass Plus. And yes it was, still the right side ... ...So I would definately reccomend Hill House Hammond the next time your car insurance is up, they were quick to give me a decision and as it turned out quoted the lowest price. Don't be one of those people who are happy with what the have already, it saved me around £500 and that can only be a good thing.

I've used Hill House Hammond for all my insurance needs for 10 years. I have always found the staff helpful, the cost competive and I like being able to go into the office and have my insurance explained to me face to face. I used them in the first place as being 17 at the time I wanted the cheapest car insurance possible, they found me a great quote within minutes.
Many insurance companies seem to be changing to call centres, I think Hill House ...

Shopping around for car insurance, I found HHH to come out the cheapest hence I changed my policy over from another company.
Now as we all know, cheapest is not always the best. So far I have had no complaints. Recently I wrote my car off, having never been involved in an accident of any kind, I was unsure of what to do or what to expect. I found the staff at HHH very informative and helpful and took the time to explain to me in basic terms as to ... ...I really like though is that there are human beings that I can talk to instead of automated voices. My local branch is only five minutes up the road and is run my a lovely group of ladies who could not be more helpful if they tried. The lady I spoke to arranged my insurance for me on my new vehicle over the phone - it was done swiftly and simply. Then I popped into the local branch to pick up my policy - easy and simple.

Advantages: the advantages of hill house hammond are that they are quick and efficient. Disadvantages: dont think there is any.

Advantages: Cheap, you can choose not to pay for some services, they will actully insure my car. Disadvantages: You can't use them if you're a bloke.
with HillHouseHammond. They were great because they were one of the few companies who are prepared to ensure my car for business use and even after I had an accident my premium didn't go up the next year.
HillHouseHammond were also prepared to pay the full claim for damage, minus my excess, and allow me to have the damage repaired at my local dealer, rather than their preferred specialist. This is fairly essential as my car's fiberglass so I'd prefer to use the manufacturer's recommended repairer as opposed to my insurer's.
However, what even the best insurance companies may not tell you is that if you don't use their specified repairer in your area, you waive the courtesy car. Not great if you're using it for work and driving 1,000 miles a week.
