...in the future. Update (24/7/01) Over the last twelve months, the performance of Invesco's funds has been less than impressive. The have merged with Perpetual and funds from both companies have been combined. This has nthing to do with the poor performance of Invesco's previously most impressive funds, the European Growth and European Smaller Company funds. Both of these funds have crashed over the last twelve months due to over investment in Technology stocks and the fund managers' failure to see the drop in value in this market sector. The funds will recover in time, as they are long term investments but it is still scary to check the value of your investment and see it has halved in twelve months and is now worth less than you invested. Their costs, administration, valuation statements and trust performance all provided a very smooth introduction to the world of long term investment savings, without the initial £1000.00+ outlay needed to keep total costs around the 5% all in mark. The Fund Managers somehow kept the asset to share price valuations at a premium when most other funds were and still are sliding down to the 15-20% mark so when I did finally move the fund monies to For Col European Trust nothing was lost to the discount factor.
