I found that this blender works well for occassional use. Costing £14.99 I suppose you get what you pay for...
However I wouldn't advise using the full capacity of the jug as ours burnt the motor out after only the third use.
It is very simple to use as there is very little that even the most-technophobic can fail to understand with a 2-speed switch.
The Jug is of 1.5l capacity.
I would also advise adding a quantity of water as it seems to throw food back up the blender jug and the only foods that I found blended easily are melon and banana. I have successfully blended foods as "hard" as apples, carrots and potatoes with no problems.
The only disappointment is the premature death of the item and the lack of support from Hinari and their website.
