Hinari BS 382

Advantages: Quiet (with mod), removable water tank, air direction control, cheap
Disadvantages: Water tank could do with being bigger (I'm being picky here!)

...I was looking for a relatively decent air con unit last Friday due ot the extereme heat. I was torn between the Focus 12000 BTU Hinari unit and the 14000 BTU unit I'd seen in a B&Q catalogue (NOT the split unit as seen on their website) and luckily I managed to test both of them so here is my review/comparison. Cooling:- The B&Q unit is rated at 14000 BTU's vs the Hinari unit which is rated at 12000 BTU's. From what I could feel in the store I'd say the B&Q unit does feel slightly cooler but not by a huge amount. In an average sized room I'd say you might get an extra 0.5 to 1 degree celsius off your room tempreture. For reference, the Hinari cooled a 9sqm office I was working in from 30c to 25.2c in around an hour and also drastically reduced the humidity. This made the office competely bearable again. ...Our first experience with a Tumble Dryer, was a freebie with the purchase of a washing machine. This served its purpose, but with the single direction rotation the contents rolled up and needed to be unravelled to dry properly, when the dryer failed we looked at the possibility of a reverse action dryer, we are now the proud owners of a CL382WV................. this has proven to be a boon, with the reverse action,the contents do not tangle, allowing the clothes to dry quicker,this has proven to be economical in operation, and easy to use, it has an economy rating of category 'D' which I feel denies its capability, due to our limited kitchen space, the dryer is installed in the garage, for anyone wishing to use it indoors I would recommend investing in a vent hose. Advantages: All types of cooking in one oven and a Child-proof lock
Disadvantages: Not large enough for big families, but would be good as a backup

...My old microwave was looking worse for wear so decided to look for a new one. As my main cooker had a grill included in the oven, which I find very inconvenient at times, I thought a microwave/grill combination would be my best bet. I visited Comet and found that there was a huge variety of ovens available, but one stood out amongst them and that was the HINARI Lifestyle Model MX780CEG. It did more than I originally wanted - Microwave, Grill and Convection, with a microwave/grill and microwave/convection combinations - but at the very reasonable price of £54.99 it looked a very good buy. As you can see from the picture above it is an attractive looking oven and with outside dimensions of 458w x 295hx488dmm and oven cavity dimensions of 309w x 206h x 334dmm, it is not that much larger than a convensional microwave oven...
