Advantages: everything about it. Disadvantages: none
...I have just bought the cylinder type and it is brilliant, i have a dog and i just couldnt get allthe hair up and i hoovered every day!!!! I bought a more expensive hoover and took it back the same day as well as getting a better hoover i got £50 back. The tubes are adjustable for all heights and it is light and easy to carry and pull along . The turbo brush is excellent and i can do my sofa with it without changing attachments. I have just done my whole house and the carpets look like they have come back to life, this just proves that the most expensive hoovers arent always the best, wether you have got a pet or not get this hoover its the best one i have had and believe me i have had quite a few all styles and prices, excellent....

Advantages: Small and light, bagless Disadvantages: Very poor quality, unhelpful customer service department
...at having received a vacuum cleaner for Christmas I had a good look at it and it didn’t seem too bad. It looked neat and compact and it didn’t need bags, which was good.
The instruction leaflet was terrible, in that way that badly translated instructions always are - quite amusing but not very helpful.
I don’t really like cylinder cleaners but this one was light (it only weighs 5.5 kgs) and not too bulky.
Sanyo is also a well-known name synonymous with quality. (A quick check in the Argos catalogue revealed that this unit costs £69.99 which is one of the highest priced cylinderbagless vacuums – I know it was cheeky of me checking the price of a gift but it was in the name of research!)
On first use I was pleasantly surprised. The suction was excellent and it was also variable for vacuuming wooden floors, rugs lino etc. It was easy...

Advantages: Quiet (with mod), removable water tank, air direction control, cheap Disadvantages: Water tank could do with being bigger (I'm being picky here!)
...I was looking for a relatively decent air con unit last Friday due ot the extereme heat. I was torn between the Focus 12000 BTU Hinari unit and the 14000 BTU unit I'd seen in a B&Q catalogue (NOT the split unit as seen on their website) and luckily I managed to test both of them so here is my review/comparison.
Cooling:-
The B&Q unit is rated at 14000 BTU's vs the Hinari unit which is rated at 12000 BTU's. From what I could feel in the store I'd say the B&Q unit does feel slightly cooler but not by a huge amount. In an average sized room I'd say you might get an extra 0.5 to 1 degree celsius off your room tempreture.
For reference, the Hinari cooled a 9sqm office I was working in from 30c to 25.2c in around an hour and also drastically reduced the humidity. This made the office competely bearable again.
Noise:-
The Hinari...

I have owned this vacuum cleaner for a few years now and have found it to be excellent overall.
It picks up everything, although doesn't give that "groomed" look to carpets that many cleaners do. This leaves you feeling that it hasn't cleaned as well more
