Advantages: Fresh bread in a few hours with minimum effort Disadvantages: Only one loaf size: small
We thought long and hard about taking this step. We discussed whether our relationship was stable enough, how it would affect our lives and what our friends would think. Finally, we decided we were ready to commit.
We bought a breadmaker.
Actually I bought it, having spotted it for £25 in Tesco, I lugged its sixty kilogram weight home and I am still the chief operator. But we both consume its output. There's equality for you.
According to Delia ... ...your own oven. All that kneading and leaving it to rise for several hours is no problem, honest. My excuse is that our oven is a decrepit old thing that takes an hour to produce a batch of flat fairy cakes; what it would do with a loaf of bread I shudder to imagine. So the breadmaker is a great boon.
It sits very discreetly in a corner of the kitchen, taking up about nine inches by twelve and standing under a foot high with the lid closed. The manual ...

...of indulgence, having seen the Hinari HB161 in Tescos for £29.99 - bought one. Well it was only a basic one - so I wasn't being too naughty.
THE HINARI HB 161
The Hinari HB 161 is a very simple machine - consisting of a plastic box with a heating element and small motor in the bottom on top of which is placed a bread tin.
At the bottom of the tin is a small blade (which is removable for cleaning) that acts to knead the dough. There are 6 simple ... ...and doughs. Operating the Hinari HB161 is very easy and the instruction booklet is very comprehensive and easy to follow. One word of warning - follow the instructions carefully add the ingredients in the order prescribed - I don't know why but if you change the order it does not work!! Aside from that, operation really is a matter of adding the ingredients and pressing the buttons - you then leave the machine to get on with it - it will beep to ...

Advantages: Makes great doughnuts Disadvantages: Takes up a bit too much room
...a bargain though as the Hinari Homebaker was only £29.99 in Tescos.
There is only one thing I don`t like about my breadmaker, and that is that it is quite big, and as I only have a small kitchen it takes up quite a bit of space. Apart from that though I love it.
It only has two buttons so even a total idiot would have trouble doing anything wrong. The instruction booklet comes with plenty of recipes, so as long as you have all the ingredients you ... ...order they`re listed, select the right program, turn it on, and hey presto.
Although most breadmakers are quite large there isn`t actually much to them. This one consists of the main body, a bread pan and a kneading blade. The bread pan has a wire handle for easy removal and it just slots in and out of the main body easy as pie. The kneading blade is just an L shaped piece of metal that slots into the bottom of the bread pan. You must always remember ...

Advantages: Easy to use and makes excellent bread Disadvantages: Is a little slower than some other bread makers.
This Bread-Maker is easy to use and makes perfect Bread. Whats more .. the recipe book contains receipes for many other 'baked' products. The book is simple and easy to follow. It basically , DOES WHAT IT SAYS IT WILL!. My neices (Ages 7-10) have all made loaves in it , and all have been edible! I wouldn't dream of buying 'Shop' Bread again. It is very reasonably priced, and as the loaves are smallish (1lb) they get eaten before there is any chance ...

Advantages: simple to use Disadvantages: small size bread
...So I decided to e-mail hinari to see if they could help us out. Within 3 days I had a new recipe book. They didn't need to send it out but they obviously must pride them selves on their after sales service. I will have no worries about buying an Hinari product in the future the reason that I bought this machine was because of the price but it was well worth it. ...
