Advantages: Can programme time to the exact second required. Disadvantages: Quite small.
...I have owned this microwave for nearly 3 years, it was gratefully received as a wedding present and served me well. Unfortunately after an incident of it shooting sparks we decided to put it into retirement and get a new microwave, a choice we much regretted. It turns out it only shot sparks because there was some food around the seal of the door and once that was cleaned off it was fine but we had been given a new microwave and felt we'd better give it a go, still I put the Hinari into storage reluctant to part with it. My instincts were spot on, I blew up the new microwave after 4 months of use, I only asked it to cook for a minute and it blew all the electrics in the house, so needless to say out came the old microwave and I'm happy again.

Advantages: Stylish look, nice price, perfect toast! Disadvantages: None that I can see
...I bought the Hinari mainly as it looked classy and was sturdier than most other toasters in that price bracket. (Many of the others had flimsy components reminiscent of a Heath Robinson contraption.) I decided that I wasn't going to spend more than £20, so was pleased when I came across this little gem for £15.99. (Did you know you can spend up to £150 on a 2-slice toaster? Madness!)
It has a classic stainless steel look that would go in any kitchen (and is vastly superior to those horrible white ones with the ears of wheat on.) The flex is an adequate length and the controls are accessible and easy to use.
Most importantly, the quality of the toast is excellent. There is a 'browning contol' with settings between 1 and 7 and, unlike many other toasters, the setting seems to have some correlation with the end result! I have never got...

Advantages: Versatile, quick programmes, easy to use Disadvantages: Recipes that come with it are "cakey", noisy at night
...My old Hinari failed after several years of stalwart and happy use and I purchased this Morphy Richards model at an even lower price than the Hinari from my local Tesco store.
So far results are good. The machine produces a variety of sizes of bread (1lb, 1.5lb and 2 lb), with three time options for white bread, three colour settings. The Fastbake programme (1 hour) is very impressive, although it takes industrial quantities of yeast (nearly 2 sachets of Hovis fast acting yeast)! It also turns out of the pan very well - not always the case with the Hinari.
Compared to the Hinari, which as other reviewers have noted, produces very rustic bread which looks a bit strange (but is very tasty), this produces loaves that look like shop bought loaves.
It has a "keep warm" function for the 60 mins after the bake cycle which is good...

This is a spectuacular album, brought together from the concept band Nouvelle Vague. Basically, without being too 'cover disasterous', this band have manipulated songs from other artists and subverted them to the Bossa Nova style. Infact, in some cases... more
