=Hinari IIN106 Travel Steam Iron=
Even though I don’t like ironing after clothes have been folded up in the suitcase they are some that need a bit of tender loving care in terms of having an iron. It’s not a good idea to take the main iron, so the next best thing is a Travel Iron. Over the years the designs have changed, mainly for the better, and this is the travel iron that I use for holidays, I brought it back in 2009,.

=Price and availability=
I apaid about £9 for the iron, from Argos, I know that you can get cheaper travel irons, but the added benefit of this Hinari Iron, is that it has a steam facility

=Storage=
The iron is lightweight and compact, The handle is foldable for easy storage.

=The Technical Information (from the Argos website, as I don’t have the box of my iron).
· 800 watts.
· Steam output 10g/min.
· Shot of steam 20g/min.
· Capacity of water tank 60ml.
· 1.8m power cord.
· Weight 0.65kg.
· Non-stick soleplate.
· Temperature ready indicator.
· Rear fill.
· Includes water beaker and travel pouch.
· EAN/MPN/UPC/ISBN: 5011423064284.

=To Use=
The cord is an excellent length, and that I ws very impressed with, as it is not far off as long as a standard iron (2 metres on average)

The Iron can be used dry or with the steam facility, if you use the steam, then the water gets poured into the back of the iron, it holds 60ml of water, which is about 4 tablespoons, it is not much, but does the job, as a touch up for holiday items.

=Variable Temperature=
The control for the temperature is built into the main body, and is quite strong, even when you are holding the handle, you do not catch the dial so you won’t accidently iron a silk blouse on a cotton setting.

=Would I recommend=
I would highly recommend this iron, to have the steam facility certainly makes this iron stand out others, and is a good little iron.

I feel that this is a comprehensive review, and whilst everyone is entitled to their opinion, it seems to be there are certain reviewers that mark low.

At the end of the day a travel iron, it is not going to iron as perfectly as a full size iron, I certainly wouldn't want to iron pleats into a kilt, it irons tshirts, take longer - hence my comment that it does the job. Its a travel iron, smaller and therefore any ironing will take longer.

Review summary

Although this is a travel iron, and it packs a punch, it is a mini treasure and hould be on every ones holiday list.
