Advantages: Bright, quiet and effective Disadvantages: Quality could be better.

The toaster has a cool wall and a small breadcrumb tray which is removable for emptying. It can cook two pieces of bread at a time. You can vary ... ...cremated or (like my Son)just the same as it was when you put it in! There is no button for frozen bread but I still put frozen bread in it and it comes out fine. There is also a "bun rack" on the top (for warming buns, obviously!!!). The toaster has a stop button, useful if your toast starts to smoke or burn. Also, the loading handle can be lifted slightly to aid removal of the toast without burning your fingers.

You can vary the browning control depending on whether you prefer your toast cremated or (like my Son)just the same as it was when you put it in! The kettle is a cordless jug kettle with a 1.5 litre capacity. The base plugs in to the mains. There is a clear water level indicator and on/off light. You can fill this kettle up through the spout quite easily if you are a little on the lazy side or flip open the lid which is on a hinge. This kettle is quiet and boils reasonably quickly.
I am fairly pleased with both these products but if I am to be honest, I feel that they are slightly poor quality and that you are really paying for the way they look. The toaster has not given me any problems in the year since I bought it but the kettle's "face" smudged and the water level indicator cracked and popped out causing rather a mess. I have had the kettle replaced as it was guaranteed for a year.
Both instruction booklets are comprehensive and easy to read.
They certainly brighten up my kitchen and make a refreshing change from the usual plain white/blue/ green appliances.
Advantages: looks nice! Disadvantages: quite loud when boiling, seems to attract limescale quickly!
I have had this hinari pink kettle for about 3 months, it came in as set with a toaster from argos for about £40. It is a lovely looking kettle, with a 360 degree base which is handy.
The only disadvantages I would say are that it seems to be rather loud when it boils, and there appears to be quite a bit of limescale for the short amount of time i have used it. Also i find its a bit of a pain, as there is no 'window', you have to take the lid off each time to make sure there is enough water in, as i found it quite hard to judge without checking! The lid is also quite stiff.
Having said all that, it is a lovely, decorative kettle, which is perfect if you like the colour pink! ...
