I just had to get your attention because I just discovered this product on sale for less than half the price I paid for it some 10-15 years ago!

Thanks ciao for responding to my request for this category. In the time between my request and it appearing, I have found my toaster on sale for a ridiculous 5.99 sterling, some six pounds cheaper than when I bought my model of the hinari lifestyle toaster.

At the time I bought my toaster, I was a bit short of cash, so I bought the cheapest toaster available at the time, which was ....you've guessed it, the hinari lifestyle toaster.

As it was so cheap, I expected a very basic toaster that wouldn't last much beyond a year. How wrong I was! This toaster is still going strong, some 10-15 years later! (Sorry, I get a bit hazy on exactly how long ago).
There is a simple dial showing the approximate shade of the finished slice of toast, which is generally quite accurate, except when using dry bread which toasts quicker, so needs a lower/lighter setting.

There is a neat little crumb tray which can be unscrewed to release tons of crumbs, or a few crumbs depending on how houseproud you are (frequency of emptying).

All these years after purchase I still have a toaster in good condition. No scratches, even though I am notoriously hard on my kitchen appliances. I am so stunned that it still works perfectly ok without any problems I can recall, not even a blown fuse - yet.

Of course I am fully expecting this machine to blow up now that I have given it such a huge build-up, but hey, after this long, and with one available dirt cheap, I win either way!

Right, you've read this far, so I will give you the information you seek. This product was available yesterday (19.2.01) at www.halfpriceorless.co.uk, but at such a daft price I doubt they will be on sale for long. You should find it in the 'new products' section - good luck!

If this product is no longer available at the above site, just shop around, as it is still a bargain at the normal price of about 12.99. I bought mine all those years ago at Argos.

I can't promise that everyone will get the same result with this product, I can only say that for me this turned out to be an absolute bargain!
