Advantages: Low price, basic and makes great toast Disadvantages: Not very stylish to look at
...This toaster is very functional but not all that stylish in the looks department.
It's made of white plastic on the outside and is a 2slice toaster.
There are 6 different variable browning control settings so you can adjust it to however you like your toast best. The slots are quite wide so it will take bread of varying widths which is very handy especially if you use uncut loaves or like door-stop size wedges of toast.
The toaster is easy to clean, with a slide-out crumb tray underneath.. The cable is long enough to plug it in with ease. The sides of the toaster are what is known as cool wall which means that you won't get burnt if you touch them even if you have just used the toaster.
This toaster is ideal for anyone on a budget and is just as good and effective as other more expensive models. I bought it for just £8...

Advantages: Makes toast Disadvantages: None found yet
...I just had to get your attention because I just discovered this product on sale for less than half the price I paid for it some 10-15 years ago!
Thanks ciao for responding to my request for this category. In the time between my request and it appearing, I have found my toaster on sale for a ridiculous 5.99 sterling, some six pounds cheaper than when I bought my model of the hinari lifestyle toaster.
At the time I bought my toaster, I was a bit short of cash, so I bought the cheapest toaster available at the time, which was ....you've guessed it, the hinari lifestyle toaster.
As it was so cheap, I expected a very basic toaster that wouldn't last much beyond a year. How wrong I was! This toaster is still going strong, some 10-15 years later! (Sorry, I get a bit hazy on exactly how long ago).
There is a simple dial showing...

Advantages: Quiet (with mod), removable water tank, air direction control, cheap Disadvantages: Water tank could do with being bigger (I'm being picky here!)
...I was looking for a relatively decent air con unit last Friday due ot the extereme heat. I was torn between the Focus 12000 BTU Hinari unit and the 14000 BTU unit I'd seen in a B&Q catalogue (NOT the split unit as seen on their website) and luckily I managed to test both of them so here is my review/comparison.
Cooling:-
The B&Q unit is rated at 14000 BTU's vs the Hinari unit which is rated at 12000 BTU's. From what I could feel in the store I'd say the B&Q unit does feel slightly cooler but not by a huge amount. In an average sized room I'd say you might get an extra 0.5 to 1 degree celsius off your room tempreture.
For reference, the Hinari cooled a 9sqm office I was working in from 30c to 25.2c in around an hour and also drastically reduced the humidity. This made the office competely bearable again.
Noise:-
The Hinari unit...

With monotonous regularity our toasters ‘die’ every two years. The last one was no different, having ejected 4 slices of toast most mornings for its brief life. If the white goods industry goes for a 5-year cycle of obsolescence by... more
