I received the hinari sc395ss slow cooker as one of my christmas gifts from my boyfriend as I had often hinted that I would like one! As it was a gift I don't know the price but similar products are around £20. It came boxed and well packaged inside to protect the appliance. The overall appearance was very good and easy enough to unpack.
The bowl that sits inside the cooker is black and very heavy, which I think is a good sign of quality, the outer ... ...really light. It has a see through glass lid so that you can see how your food is doing. The dial on the front has four settings: off, low, high and warm. Off is self expanitory, low is the slow cooking function, high is a quicker setting, good for bringing things to the boil and warm keeps the food warm when its cooked! Very simple and easy to use.
