The Hinari two-tier steam supreme has two very generous compartments which easily hold enough veg to feed a family of four and can also be used independantly.
It also comes with a rice steaming dish which easily inserts into any of the compartments. It's not just useful for steaming veg and rice, it can also be used for steaming meat, poultry or fish and one of the compartments is moulded at the bottom to easily hold eggs.
... ...was included in the purchase - lots of inspiration for my new kitchen 'toy' also easy to read water level gauge with an external spout for topping up water if needed. Easy to use timer control which 'Pings' when food is ready.
The downside of the steamer is the cleaning after use, but I find getting someone else to do the dishes conquers this problem. ...
