Instead of this type of therapy, I find she has been moved to a medical Care of the Elderly ward, where only limited rehabilitation is practised. ...nanna ended up being in Hinchingbrooke hospital for 6 WEEKS.
In this time she had a urine infection, had to be cathatarised, she lost her appetite but was not encouraged to eat her food we found un opened food in her hospital bag! She was neglected by staff and often hadnt drank anything during the day.
The visiting hours are 3-5pm and 7-8pm.
My nanna barely got out of bed, didnt get the physio she was menat to receive and deterioted whilst in ... ...of staff and total lack of care given too patients.
We know of many other patients who feel the same about hinchingbrooke so unless you want your family member or friend to go in with a in minor problem and come out in a coffin go to addenbrookes instead! ...

We received an email from Macdonald to say they had special offers on certain hotels so we looked into them further. We chose this one as it had a wide range of facilities and was only an hour away from where we live so was a nice weekend break.
