Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon

Advantages: Not what I expect from a Trust Hospital.
Disadvantages: Initally poor standard of patient care.

...mother was being transferred to Hinchingbrooke Hospital on the basis that she would be receiving intensive rehabilitation after undergoing neurological surgery and a following stroke, six weeks ago. ...nanna ended up being in Hinchingbrooke hospital for 6 WEEKS. In this time she had a urine infection, had to be cathatarised, she lost her appetite but was not encouraged to eat her food we found un opened food in her hospital bag! She was neglected by staff and often hadnt drank anything during the day. The visiting hours are 3-5pm and 7-8pm.
