Advantages: Modular, Pretty Quiet, Best looking PSU on market, Extends component life, stable Disadvantages: Cables length, there are more silent available, possible LED problems
...This has been my PSU in my fairly nicely specced system for almost a year now and it has be brilliant.
First of all the noise level is very quiet for a high wattage powersupply and is only audible if you are going for total silence or there is very little ambient noise, there are a few quieter PSUs.. but this is great all the same, and much quieter then any generic brands of the same power.
This PSU has proved to be very stable as i have had no power related crashes in all the time i have been using it. It has a peak wattage of just over 600w but most systems wont be needing so much power anyway, the 580w is just fine for any single card setups and is good enough for mid/high range SLi setups aswell, it is SLi certified to prove it.
The PSU is modular which saves ugly cables using up all the space in your case and stopping...

...My first build PC chosen my Mother Board, My graphics card, My Ram, My HDD.My DVD and CD drives Hmmm what else do I need ?
For any modern PC you need Power and lots of it. But how much ? Well you can get out your calculator and work out power consumption of each installed item then have how many watts are being consumed ......or play it safe.
These days a minimum of 350 W is recommended so I went for power and value for money. Hiper has a good reputation for quality and I wanted a quieter powersupply than the one in my last PC.
Installation is dependant on your case I had loads of room in mine and as it was a new build it was the first thing I installed.
It was supplied with plenty of cables and supports the 939 AMD chip sets.
It was supplied with all the connectors you could need to power two hard drives, two DVD / CD...
