Hippychick Hipseat

Advantages: easy to use, invaluable for a toddler.
Disadvantages: no straps for security minded parents

...I found the hippychick seat in one of the baby catalogues and decided that I would give it a try. It is basically like a 'bumbag' of the 80s with a solid insert inside that provides a platform for your baby to sit on. with a good strong velcro fastening and a strap and buckle to secure it further. I have used this to carry my 4 yr old from school (he suffers with joint pain from hypermobility so sometimes gets tired). and did not get back ache ...
...other hand the carrier is designed in such a way that I can swap children that need a carry very easily there are no straps to secure your child but i always found that I would use one hand on child in carrier anyway so this was fine with me it only comes in black which co-ordinates well with whatever your wardrobe contains and has a small security pocket inside (that I found wasnt much use to be honest) I have had comments several times on how ...
