Hippychick Sleepytime Sam Massage Oil

Advantages: soothing and calming for the child, seems to cause a closer bonding between child and parent.
Disadvantages: Get a bit greasy and slimy applying this oil.

...I have 3 children, and i have used this oil to give my kids soothing massages. They all loved it very much, especially with my youngest who is 10 mths old. He loves his massages after his bath, so he can wriggle about, as he loves the freedom of no nappy or clothes. It also keeps the skin soft and silky like, but is very slimy on the hands. They enjoy the closeness of your soothing touch of your massage on their body. You seem to bond more closely with them after this. Don't know what does this, but it feels good they smell so sweet and cuddle up to you. It also calms a restful and fretful child, changes them into a gooey gagga baby full of fun. You can also use it on your partner if they need a massage after a stressful day. Just make sure a towel is under them as it can get messy.... Read review

...I bought this carrier when my daughter was about six months old, having tried and hated every other carrier I came across.why did I hate them?? well every one is designed with a harness that goes over shoulders and around your body to secure it. now at 5 foot 2 inches and being a size 8-10 i ended every time i used a carrier with bad back and seriously painful shoulders and carrying any baby over 10kg was a mission. I found the hippychick seat in one of the baby catalogues and decided that I would give it a try. It is basically like a 'bumbag' of the 80s with a solid insert inside that provides a platform for your baby to sit on. with a good strong velcro fastening and a strap and buckle to secure it further. Baby oil is very versatile. It can be used on adults or babies, for moisturising, massage and it even shines up bedside tables! The packaging of Tesco's baby oil is very simple - a clear bottle approximately 8 inches tall, with special grips along the side to prevent it slipping when you're holding a wriggly baby or if your hands are slippy from the oil. The lid is pale green and some of the text on the label is a matching green. The lid never pops open by accident, meaning that you shouldn't spill any unless you leave the top open. Similarly, it isn't impossible to open so you won't be struggling to open it and apply it to yourself or your baby... Read review
