...This is the first of two products in the Samsonite Travel Cot range and it leads on to the Samsonite Pop Up Bubble Travel Cot (which I have also reviewed). It is a brilliant, pioneering product and was the first of its kind on the market when I bought it while still pregnant with my first child in 2003/04.
The Samsonite Pop Up Travel Cot is available in three colours - pink and blue in the standard model and stone in the deluxe model. The standard models are made of cotton and nylon, although the baby only lies on cotton, with the main outer body being made of the easily cleaned nylon while the deluxe model is all cotton except the nylon mosquito net - this does seem to make it slightly cooler but more difficult to clean any stains.

...- your child only sleeps on cotton covered areas, the nylon bits are the mosquito net.
The only problems we found were:
1) if you want to put a sheet on the base, rather than use one of the baby sleeping bags that are the latest thing in baby bedding, you can't tuck it under the base properly as it uses Velcro to attach it to the main body of the cot. 2) the cot sits directly on the floor - that is, there is no gap between the base and the floor - which isn't really a problem unless the floor is cold. We got around this by putting a blanket...

...Gosh do they still make these I said when my daughter said she had some mother care cotton jersey fitted sheets on the babiescot , you used to sleep on some jersey fitted sheets from mother care when you were a baby 28 yrs ago Ahhh.
Ohh don't they do some pretty colours now. I don't think I could get anything but white. The new sheets are available in white, lemon, cream, and pink and blue.
Mother care makes these sheets to fit a pram or Moses basket, a crib, a cot or a cot bed. Prices range from £6.99p, 7.99p 10,99p and -£14.99p. Respectively for a pack of two sheets. They make a printed ones too, winnie the pooh , Humphreys corner , jungle prints, these are slightly more expensive but really cute .
I would recommend that you start with 4 cot sheets as they may need washing often baby dribble puke, wee and poo
The sheets...
