I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN!! it was so in depth with an amazing plot and character detail that you could really imagine being there with the characters in a living breathing world. One of the few, truely fantastic trilogies, that appeal to both adults and a younger audience. I first read this trilogy when i was 12, and couldnt put them down. years later, i have reread them and found that it is just as grippin as the first time, but now i can see more depth into the story. Disadvantages: you are left wanting more.

This is the perfect fantasy trilogy, one that would make for excellent listening with your child, as both adult and child can enjoy this story at many differing levels.
