After a gap of three years, the final and fantastic sequel to Northern Lights and The Subtle Knife is here! And believe me, it is no let down in any way. The book is about two twelve-year-olds, Lyra and Will. Will is from our world, and Lyra is from one that is similar, but has several differences. Each child has a destiny to fulfil. This book is fantastic - exciting, original, capturing, moving and extremely well-written. But it's got a very complicated plot, which some people might not like. I'm not going to give away any secrets, but what I particularly liked about this book was that you see some characters from a particularly different angle than you did in its prequels. This book is brilliant, buy it if you like fantasies, books with complicated plots, and if you liked the first two!
