History Channel: Battle for the Pacific (PS3)

...Two years ago Microsoft released the capable, if underwhelming Combat Flight Simulator. The game wasn't that bad but didn't hold up well compared to other more aggressive releases of the time. Microprose's European Air War garnered the most respect from the die-hard simulation crowd while Jane's WWII Fighters made a favorable impression on the less demanding audience. Though most reviewers felt strongly that Combat Flight Simulator 1 was the weakest of the three titles, Microsoft's distribution channel kept it on store shelves long after the competition faded. The decision to follow up with a Pacific theater setting was quite easy. It seems absolutely ludicrous that two years ago publishers produced eight WWII sims set in Europe and zero set in the Pacific. ...Ace Comabt 6; the best flight arcade game in history, forget "Over G-Fighter" this just doesnt come close. avlaible on he Xbox 360 the truely great gaming console no true gamer should be without. thats right not avalaible on the PS3 well looks like Namco are changing sides and so shoudl you. story is based around a city which came under attack by the "Estovakians" your mission is to retake "Gracmeria" along with you wing man "Shamrock". over 18 missions lasting hours on end with unlitited amounts of hours of playtime. online ENABLED play agaisnt friends for true Air Supremacy and tets your skills. Lead your team into battle for denefse or attck purposes. over 15 aircraft to unlock and choose from with phot realsitc graphic and true aircraft feel. feel the speed of each aircraft and master over G turns for desparate dog fighitng... ...Tiger Woods PGA Tour is a great game for anyone who likes sports. You might be thinking, if you haven't bought a ps3, well I might get a wii and buy tiger woods for the wii. Yes, the way has the motion sensors, but it lacks the brilliant quality of high definition that ps3 shows it's glory in. I myself started out with the ps3 on a standard definition tv then i bagged a bargain when i found the ' Hannspree XV 32" ' for £300. The difference is amazing, the graphics (especially clouds) make you feel like your there. A very detailed player creator starts off your career, whichs involves a 'Tiger Challenge' and of course the 'PGA Tour'. Online play is also very good as you can play as yourself or a star player and also set a wager. Mini games are also great fun there is one ball, where there is one ball!
