DEWALT-The Industrial Drill
Review of Dewalt DW914K2 by  PeterFarrell

Advantages: Reliable, easy to use, quick recharge, two speed, 13mm keyless chuck, forward/reverse facility, many different torque settings. Meant for Industrial use.
Disadvantages: Heavy, but well balanced, can cause wrist ache if used a lot.

...(once the NiCd batteries are fully charged, after a couple of charge ups and run downs) is very long lasting. One thing you must make sure of, as it has NiCd batteries, is that you run them down completely before recharging them, otherwise they will develop a memory and will not charge fully. This can result in a big bill for a new battery, a 14.4 V battery replacement is about £73 (including VAT)! The manual is informative and fairly easy to understand, although the tool is not hard to use really. Once you are used to it, how to hold it, how much speed and pressure to apply, you can use it like a pen, and it comes as second nature to pick it up, flick the forward or reverse switch, (which when in the centre position, acts as a lock to prevent it from running when in the box) and away you go. I have used mine to drill many types... Read review

Arse scratching pleasure moments
Review of Titan Combi Drill by  atticusuk

Advantages: Well made and easy to operate
Disadvantages: Bit heavy but manageable

...I would be the first to admit that my attempts at home improvement are more likely to end up on a show like DIY Disasters than winning any B&Q award for Best Hanging of a Curtain Pole. Having said that I do still get the manly pleasure of doing a manual job and stepping back, wiping the sweat from my brow, scratching my arse and thinking "Yep that will just about do". With this in mind I thought it time I did a manly review about my Titan Combi drill which is of the cordless variety and hence ideal for most jobs. I have found this drill to be a good all round drill that can cope with pretty much al the jobs around the house. As a combi drill it can be used for both drilling holes and for driving and removing screws and with a 14.4v power source it can easily cope with wood and brick jobs. It comes in a hard plastic briefcase... Read review

Makita drill for the enthusiastic DIYer.
Review of Makita 6226 Drill / Driver by  XtremeOllie

Advantages: Light, Small, Durable, Cheap and Very Reliable
Disadvantages: Lack of power for bigger jobs.

...I use this at work as my secondry drver mainly just to attach small joints and woodwork in general. Makita have always been a big name in the world of D.I.Y.ing tools and contimue to make tools that last and last and perform to fairly good standards. These drivers are used as lightweight alternatives to the more expensive combination drills and if all you require is a cheapish drill for home usage or general small construction then this is the drill for you. Unfortunately your not going to get any sort of real power out of the \'green\' makita range as its known as these are intentienly aimed at D.I.Y.ers, you do have enough to drill small planks and boards but you can forget about drilling anything harder as their simply is not enough torque or amp power to get you anywhere. Bargain sets can be picked up for £100 or less including... Read review

drill pump

OK, You are now going to read a review on a water pump, and not a bad one for the purpose it is designed, however it's use is limited. The idea is, you have a small pump, which you attach to your electric drill, then use it to pump whatever you need more
