Advantages: Price, HDMI, aesthetic (looks nice) Disadvantages: no freeview
...This TV has a wide selection of inputs, and the picture quality has been good so far. The remote and menu system have been easy to use.
So far i have connected Sky satellite, games consoles, DVD players (upscaling and normal) and used it as a monitor for my laptop.

I have not used the built in analogue tuner for television as the signal is very weak in my area, however it works fine with the sky box and some older games consoles.
I have had to have the TV repaired once under warranty when it was only 5 months old. However the customer services people at Hitachi were helpful and sorted it all out for me.
Overall a well priced, well specified television....
