For the past year I've been renting a 32" widescreen television from Hitachi from Granada. The quality of the set is superb, though at 32" it is very bulky. The set includes a 3D pro-logic surround sounds system, which means it creates a surround sound atmosphere but only uses the speakers on the television set. This solution isn't as good as using four speakers, from experience, but it is an improvement on normal stereo sound. This makes it a good choice for those with not much room, or, like me, if you already have a separate surround sound system. The picture quality is good and there are a range of widescreen adn normal modes, including 14:7 in between.
