One thing that I have found is that If you rgoing to get LCD HDTV then do not go any bigger than 37 inches because the picture qaulity is not to hot.
I went for the 32 inch because its not to big but you also have to consider ... ...a 32 inch i would reccomend to sit roughly 8-10 foot away from the screen for opitimal viewing pleasure.
It comes standard on a pretty steardy frame which looks quite nice two.If you do purchase this product I would advise you not to rush out and spend £200 plus on a wall bracket. It has one in the box although they dont tell you that!!!

Then hang the TV buy hooking the screws on the back into the bracket.SIMPLE AS THAT.
May I reccomend that you leave enough room underneath the TV for inserting all wires you need as there is not much room for cables.On the upside you have 4 scart sockets for things like i.e.-games console,dvd player, vhs, HDMI player ETC. This TV luckily, can also double up as your PC monitor. I find this very handy as I find it really hard to read the text on a bulky cased tiny screened monitor!!!
Unfortunatley it is not fully HD. It will display HD images and footage if you have either of the following: HDMI Player SKY HD X-Box 360 (HD GAMES). But when the TV is in HD mode it is certainly one of the most crystal clear perfect pictures I have ever watched in my life.
The loudspeakers that it apparently comes with are a bit medeoka. Yes they are very loud but in terms of sound quality and crispness it is a bit rubbish. The treble levels are all wrong and this set has literaly no base whatsoever.Even when you manualy change the settings yourself, still not much difference has been made. Not to worrie because you can afford a new tv you can afford surround sound. Ha Ha
The actual setup menus on screen are very simple and easy to follow. This tv however has a superb feature known as 'Picture in picture'(PIP) Which allows you to continue watching what you want and view the other channels in a smaller picture in corner of the screen. Very handy when the football is on.
As far as price goes, when i purchased this product iot cost nearly £1000. Nowdays as you can see the priced has almost halved thus forth making it excellen value for money. I would reccomend this TV to anybody out there.

cheap as chips great quality product.dont let the price put you off(cheap ain't always good),but believe me this product is ,owned the t.v for two years and we love it. Advantages: Value for money, Household name. Disadvantages: None so far
I have owned this model from new since 12/06 and I am as delighted with it now as when I bought it.
I still think it is one of the best looking sets on the market, and love the sleek design, much nicer than the giant "PC Monitor" types in my opinion.
This is the main telly in the house and is in daily use, mostly with free view and D V D,although my sons x box is used on occasion at 1080i, together with my laptop. The picture quality is superb ...

Failed after 18 months, Hitachi have refused help. Chinese-made circuit board will cost £390 to replace NOT including labour. Mine will end up in the bin, to be replaced with a Sony perhaps. Beware! ...
