I Bought my Hitachi 42PD5200 from www.247electrical.co.uk for £2268.99 (With p+p) as i wanted the pay 12month later option. I had spent a long time looking around the net on various sites that review Plasma and as it had won a collection of awards i bought the hitachi. The tv is great looking and the picture is excellent quality when used with Dvd or Sky + though nowhere near as impressive using the standard ariel connected tv channels (Not sure if its as using a ariel extention or not) Sound quality is also brilliant nice crisp sounds and good bass with its srs trubass sound. The remote is nice looking designed though can get a little confusing as im new to it with all the buttons ! The tv has a built in tuner so all the connections are on the back of the tv there is only 1 Scart ! ,2 Component inputs, 2 Composite, 1 S-video, 4 pairs of stereo audio inputs, Dvi and analogue pc, Rf (ariel) input. Im very pleased with it at the moment and would recommend buying one ! You really need Digital tv or Sky running through scart to get quality picture or a dvd player though.
