It may not be 'top of the range' but then what do you need a CD player for apart to play CD's?
It has memory and repeat functions and a bass boost which works well. The memory is quite complicated to get the hang of (or ... ...routine. The most impressive thing about it though is it's 40 second ESP. I use it all the time and I don't think my CD's have ever skipped or jumped, and I use it on the train, on the bus, while walking, in fact pretty much all the time. I don't know what it's like without the ESP as I just keep it on constantly. You get an adapter plug with it so that you can plug it in if you're inside and not waste the batteries. The headphones that come with it are fairly painful but then, who doesn't own about 4 different sets of the damn things!? It's certainly made my bus journeys a lot less tedious and (most importantly)it looks pretty and silver. If you're looking for a good, practical easy to use CD player then I'd recommend this one. (Especially since it's one of the cheaper ones on the maket at £50)
